| Cyprotex has established a loyal customer base
that includes large pharma and small biotech. Our portfolio lists
over 50 partners who routinely turn to us for drug discovery support. They recognise that Cyprotex offers reliable, high quality ADME/toxicity data on their compounds at costs that make it affordable for analysing large numbers of compounds. We're able to do this because of our focus on the latest technology which can deliver high quality assays in high throughput formats at low running costs. We have passed stringent acceptance standards set by our customers for in vitro testing - and we've proven our ability to generate high quality, accurate data day in, day out. Increasingly we offer support that includes a combination of our experimental and computational technologies (Cloe® Screen and Cloe® PK) which together provide a clear understanding of a compound's potential to succeed as a drug. We are adding to our technology base with additional mass spectrometers and high throughput liquid handling robots to increase our capacity in line with customer demand. In addition, we have added specialised equipment which can test compounds for potential cardiac toxicity (see Cloe® Screen hERG safety). We are the first to offer this gold standard high throughput assay as a service, which is in high demand - cardiac toxicity has resulted in the withdrawal of several high profile drugs from the market and testing for it is now a regulatory requirement. |
