Software and Automation of Laboratory Workflow

Consultancy

At Cyprotex, we have extensive background in automating and optimizing the routine operation of a wide range of ADME, PK and High Content Screening assays. We have developed our knowhow through over ten years continuous improvement of our own facilities and we have both applied and further developed this knowhow by working under contract with several pharmaceutical companies helping them optimize their workflows and improve efficiency within their own laboratories. In some cases these projects have involved integration of previously isolated ‘islands of automation’, in others we have engaged on a more extensive revisions - eliminating steps and integrating numerous workflow processes and their supporting subsystems. We are committed to integrated solutions that eliminate manual and unnecessary steps in workflows. The starting point is a workflow audit where we visit the facility, review existing processes and identify areas for improvement.

Contact us if you would like us to conduct a workflow audit of your facility.

Discovery Bus Software

The Cyprotex Discovery Bus is a novel and powerful software platform designed to enhance efficiency in drug discovery by automating human decision making and information handling using intelligent workflow. It enables the steps carried out by a human expert to be modeled as a workflow and the decomposition of a more complex task into series of linked steps, each step of which can be implemented by specialist programs. Applications include auto QSAR and automation of laboratory workflow processes.
