Cyprotex PLC (AIM: CRX), the provider of pharmacokinetic technology and information, today announces that Mr Robert Morrisson Atwater, a director of the Company, bought on Friday 2 June 2006 105,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company at a price of 7.25p per share.

As a consequence of this purchase, Mr Atwater's interest in the share capital of the Company has increased to 940,000 ordinary shares representing 0.68% of the issued share capital.
