Director Shareholding Announcement

Cyprotex PLC (AIM:CRX), the drug discovery technology and information company, today announces that Mr Robert Morrisson Atwater, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, bought today 300,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company at an average price of 5.07p per share.

As a consequence of this purchase, Mr Atwater's interest in the share capital of the Company has increased to 1,240,000 ordinary shares representing 0.94% of the issued share capital.
