Director Share Purchases

Cyprotex PLC (AIM: CRX), the drug discovery technology and information company was notified today that David William Evans, a non-executive director of the Company purchased a total of 25,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company on 4 October 2007 at 3.25p per share. David William Evans now has a total interest of 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which represents 0.018% of the issued share capital of the Company.
