Our US site in Watertown has been awarded a new 5 year contract with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) worth up to US $13 million.
This project is part of the EPA’s Computational Toxicology and Exposure Research (CompTox) efforts and aims to provide a solutions-driven approach to evaluate the potential human and environmental health risks caused by environmental chemical exposure.
Our latest blog delves into the exciting work recently published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. The project studies the effect of thyroid hormone synthesis disruptors on human health and is funded by the European Unions’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
Our Modelling and Simulation (M&S) group at Cyprotex have contributed towards the prediction of in vivo health outcomes by means of a computational simulation model.

This month, we are delighted to launch our latest service, the cell stress panel assay.
The assay is made up of 36 biomarkers representing several key cellular stress mechanisms, including mitochondrial toxicity, gene regulation and inflammation, measured primarily using high content imaging. The panel can be used to identify potential chemical liabilities when conducting non-animal safety assessments.
